Luca is getting really good at climbing the steps in the house...and fast too.  I don't think it will be too long before he is walking.

One Year Checkup

30" Length (50th percentile). 18.25" Head Circumference (50th percentile). 20 lbs. 5 oz. (15th percentile). Dr. Nelson said that the thrush is a little resistant to the Nystatin...just going to have to try Diflucan. No big deal. 4 shots today for Luca. He had a big cry right away...but came around fairly well. Lots more sniffling and whining than the last few times we've had shots. All is good though.

Well deserved day off

Luca is working on his 1 year molars...Kristine rubbed a little Rye Whisky on his gums. This was his reaction coupled with lots of giggling. I think we're in trouble.

Luca has 6 teeth now and another couple on the way.  I guess it's time to start practicing brushing his teeth.  He already loves the electric toothbrush...but I think it tickles his mouth.

First Steps...while Crawling.

I put Luca in front of the steps at the bakery and he started climbing them like he'd been doing it for months.  The baby gate will now be going up in the house.  Once again: we can't stop him, we can only try to contain him.
